HI THERE! I'M LAURA!

Laura Sophie HOCHGRÜNDLER

Ever since I was a little girl, horses have been around me and they will always be.
Naturally, I wanted to remember all of the moments I spent around horses, so I started to take pictures of them with an age of 12, to keep those precious memories forever.

And so photography quickly became a second passion of mine and it is a pleasure to combine both the horses and photography in my job, which is capturing the bond and love of horses and their owners. A little fun fact about me, my grandma used to be a photographer as well. So, it seems to be even in my blood.

Not long ago I added a third passion to my list – traveling.
It’s been a dream come true to journey in Europe and around the world to capture you and your horses. I am very greatful for exploring new places, meeting new people, and discovering the beauty of different cultures. As an international equine photographer, I feel very fortunate to unite all of my passions into one profession.

THIS IS MY PURPOSE

„A look into our horses eyes. A touch on their soft muzzles. A glance. A ride. A walk. A dance. The special bond and love you share with the animal that never said a word to you.“

We all know what it feels like to be with our most special four-legged partners. Exactly this feeling is what I always wanted to hold on to within my pictures.

I experienced it firsthand with my two lovely sorrel mares and the newest addition on the team – my sorrel yearling. After one of them died in 2019, I felt this hole in my heart and I was so thankful for all the pictures I took of her in her lifetime so I have lasting memories.

My other horse Patty, an 8-year-old AQHA mare, was originally imported from the states, to become my show horse. So I know exactly what it feels like to not only have love for the animal, but also for this amazing sport and industry around it. Now I aim to capture the relationship between the sport and the love for our horses for my customers as well.
